| I made all the inner piviot sleeves for the irs, and started to make the inboard piviot points for the a arms but i ran out of metal. They use same techniques to make just different lenghts and hole sizes. Inner sleeves are 1/2 od x 3/8 id. I rough cut the parts out of a tube with a cutoff wheel Then chuck them up in lathe and tookem to size and reamed the hole to a true .375in Here is the finished parts. The inboard piviot points are on the right. They are 1in od x 5/8 id. The assembly in lower center is how they go together. The sleeve goes in a bronze bushing and that will be pressed in the inboard piviot point that will get welded to a arm tube | |

| This is looking high quality here. It's looking like you want to build something that lasts. | |

| IT'S A-ARM TIME. The upper and lower arms will be the same minus one little difference and I'll point it out later. Went to local metal supplier and got some 1in x .095 tube, needed 10 ft but got 12 ft just to be safe. Here are the main tubes cut out to rough length. Each a arm will have 4 tubes in it (and each tube will be a different lenght) so need 16 tubes total. Got the tubing notcher out and im notching the end to fit the inner pivot point. Need a total of 6 notches per a arm at two different angles. Here is one mocked up in my a arm welding jig that i made. All the pcs sitting around it will make the other 3 arms up. Here is one of the tricky pc to make. Mainly getting the lenght right. (looking right to left) had to a double notch on a tube with 1in of space between each notch in the center of the tube. Then mark the center with a stright edge and cutoff wheel it apart into 2 pcs. The the pc i need is rolled into place how it should fit. Now im real low on welding gas so i've been trying to find little welding jobs around the house to empty the bottle off on. I really dont want to run out half way through an a arm. | |

| That notching looks really pro. No big gaps to fill there. Are you going to MIG or TIG it? I really like that fixture you made. Pretty simple design and it looks like it will make tacking up the A arms a way simpler and easier process. Plus all four of them will be the same! | |

| Nice Jig fixture. I usually make mine out of wood and half way through the tack welding the fixture is usually on fire, LOL. | |

| Well you all can guess that I'm not going to make it.
Kinda got stuck in a predicament this past summer. In June or July I picked up a Yamaha r6. Then I thought hey that would make a killer power plant for this rig, but u all know what that means I'd be DQ'ed. So I started to think do I go with my original plans and not be as happy or build it with the new acquired pc of awesomeness. Well I'm a firm believer that u don't cut corners on your projects, so motor it is. Well then fall came and I got an offer on my old house and I couldn't pass it up. Then I had to move rest of my junk out of that house and I realized man I got a lot of projects. I got to say one thing I bought a 07 Kawasaki vulcan 900 years back and I've been trying to sell it and I couldn't get any reasonable offer out of it. 3300ish miles and only 2grand So now I think I got two motors to choose from. So long story short I put it on the back burner.
So the troy bilt pos is still going to happen, just want to get a couple other things warped up first.

| Too bad you are not going to make it, but I 100% agree with you about cutting corners and make the thing the way you want it!
Fabrication is very good to this point. I see it only getting better!
