Not sure how it would for him? I see people remove it all together. I think it is good use of what you have. Check out the pics a bit guys. the whole front beam is welded with bracing

| Looks pretty cool Neil! One thing you may notice with this setup is, being that you have a single tie-rod instead of a bell crank with dual tie-rods, when the beams drop the wheels will toe-in because the distance between the wheels is getting shorter. My little Ford used to do that but I recently made up some limit straps so the beams do not have extreme droop anymore. Looking forward to more progress on this! That problem is already in the works to deal with. The goal is to have the steering work just like a 2wd ford range. Triangle linked Tie rods with frame rail steering pivot and all. | |

| Ooh, okay. Sounds pretty cool! Should be a good working setup when you get that all together. Cool deal MMM. I was afraid your build was going to be on hold a bit with all that is going on.

You do know you are looking at it upside down. It's a tire, it doesn't matter wether it's up-see-daisy, or right side up. The sizing is on the inside, and the tread is pointed backward, even when you turn your computer upside down. (hehe)

(hehe) Actually it does... If the frame is right side up, tires will point >>>> forward. If you are looking from the angle Neil has (frame upside down so he can work his suspension) the tread will point to the rear <<<<<. So yes, it does matter if you are looking from top or bottom which way the tread is pointing. For example, look at the rear tires on your NellyBelle (if you still have the aggressive tires on it). If you are looking from the front of the tractor the rear tires are pointing down.... now walk to the rear of the tractor.... Are they not pointing UP? Same principle. And the sizing.... I have a set of those tires and it is on "both" sides.
Sorry Neil, we have gotten off track on your thread. We will get back on topic.

Sorry Neil, we have gotten off track on your thread. We will get back on topic. Thank you!! I do not think I had another polite think first open mouth second comment in me for him. At this point the next thing is to set the tires 90 degrees at dead center of travel and weld in the front I beam bars. Measure 20 times weld once and hope it's right.
