- Ahh. Looks interesting. I just do'nt think the connection between the box steel and the stock axle is the sturdiest, it could break probably.
The Front Tire Upgrade is cool! Is the ride smooth, or really rough with them? Probably will buy the same tires Inspect a little closer... That pic he showed you from early on showing the dual I beam I believe the stock axle ends were just stuck on at that time. Not welded. If you look at the more recent image.

You can see the 2 square tubes welded together make up the whole opening to the stock axle giving more surface welding making it stronger than that first images appears. Ohh. I'm sure if anything breaks @Maine Mud Mower will show it us in his Vids. I will go for a reinforced stock axle in my build.

| Hey looking good Neil! The upper coilover mounts might work better turned 90° so the beams won't be trying to bend the coilovers, but it should still work fine. Have you tried to see how much travel the setup has yet? At this point all the parts are sitting in paint. My goal for now is to get the rest of it slung together into a test drive state over the next 2 weeks. I'm going on another vacation soon so and need to get back onto farm work soon. The flex on each side should be around 6 inches stock flex is 4 so anything above that is better. | |

| Solid progress on the build. I can't see the sterring issue though. A drag link with a tie rod is no good because the toe in/out will constantly change. I think you either need a dual drag link setup but I'm unfamiliar with fords lol.
Bummer about your wrists. I fell hands first onto a concrete pier years ago and it put my wrists in a huge amount of pain and set me back work wise for a little bit but it healed up and nothing was broken.

Front at this point still looks the same. I want to get it out and test drive it a bit and flex it first then decide on the front skid plate setup.

| So, curiosity is getting the better of me. Your shock mounts are 90* from each other. I was wondering your thoughts on that. Part of me is thinking that will be hard on the shock, while another part of me is thinking it can travel 2 directions. Should not have any if very little backward bend. It should all work up/down. | |
