@AllisKidD21 You definitely have a good suspension eye.  It makes sense to move that toplink over so it doesn't interfere with the engine pulley or crankshaft.  It's be easier to work on belt and pulleys without a link bar right in your way.

@redzz02  Do you know the application that the shocks you bought are designed for?  Would you send me the link to them?

Nice video.  Thanks for sharing all the details.  I like how you lowered your center of gravity.  I think this tractor's going to handle well.

@Crazy_Carl I stole the idea from the mowrons (stretch and therainbowboxer)

Haspin has a lot of hills and they have purpose built mowers just for haspin, so I figured I'd copy some of there mods as to how well they perform out there

I like the sturdy frame, and the Look. The old lawn tractors are looking soooo much nicer than the newer ones.

Ooh boy, she's looking good in that video! That brace over the transaxle looks pretty neat. The spindle knuckle setup should cool to see done as well.

fab work definitely exhausts me on builds, working on this thing daily has been tiring, but every little bit counts

with my motor backwards with the intake facing the rear of the tractor, and chopping the tunnel down i have very limited room for a battery and a fuel tank.

so in efforts to gain some room up under the dash, possibly fitting a steering shaft, intake, battery, and fuel tank up under the dash and making it LOOK GOOD is going to be a challenge, i decided to build my own dash

well modify the existing dash to obtain more room

14 gauge steel to reform the new dash, welded it to the existing one and cut out the center of the existing old dash, leaving a new slightly bigger dash!

ill be cutting a big portion out of the flat of the new dash to accommodated an access panel

also have the main dash/upper steering support tacked into place, along with what is soon to be a removable top cage for the motor and a hood mount.

i trimmed off two inches off of the grill to try and show some of the suspension more

Looks good! The cage around the engine looks pretty solid.

@TheRainbowBoxer @MightyRaze I don't plan on rolling THIS one! Haha last year I just hit that bump a little wrong, but I am building this one so hopefully I don't have to zip tie stuff back together after it rolls, Once I get the steering figured out it shouldn't bee too bad to get the rest done

That Dash does look good.  Like it was meant to be that way.

@MatthewD @MightyRaze thanks it looked a lot better in my head but it definitely looks a lot better fronded down, it'll be even better once I smooth it all out and make it look perfect

Not sure if you mentioned it but what are your plans for steering on this rig? A rack and pinion like Stretch's Silver Bullet would be pretty neat.

Its looking good, real good. Im really digging the lowered stance

On a side note we must be running on the same brain waves cuz there will be a half twin when i get mine updated

@RichieRichOverdrive I'm not sure I stole a lot of ideas from their builds, I'd say there's because there is less moving parts to break and this is a complete scratch fresh build

Yeah that's true, haha. There won't be any play with direct steering though, which is a bonus for sure.

another day and another bolt,   between work and working on this thing among everything else, im beat.

ive torn my house, garage, and sheds apart looking for my brake hub for a week and finally caved and ordered another one, guess who found the original brake hub the day i got the new one? ME yup me, was in my one jacket pocket out in the garage.

i made the engine cage bolt on so now i can actually remove the motor when ever need be,

i also brought home the motor that will be on it, the 16hp twin that was on my 4x4 build.

i used some HF 3.99 10 inch tires and cut out the centers to make steering shaft supports

brought home some matching front tires also, i think im gonna cut the tread pattern for now.

steering is half way done, i need to order a steering wheel, and make up a pitman arm and another tierod,

and lastly i started on mounting the foot boards, i have decided with going original opposed to building nerf bars.

Looks great! The blower shroud sure stands out, haha. I just noticed on your 3-link that the upper link is pretty much the same length as the lowers. I don't think you'll have any binding problems though since it's mounted up a bit higher on the frame crossmember than the outer links. Plus I guess you don't have like wicked up and down travel or anything, haha.
