| So have you higher ups decided on if small automotive transmissions would be legal in the build off? | |

| By Atv frames are not permitted, is that running the entire frame or are chunks not allowed also? | |

| If youre using A arms or something, its fine. Pretty much by basis. If you take an ATV frame and put a mower engine in it and call it good, it wont fly. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Not to sound like a buzzkill, but the whole point of the Build-Off is to build the best tractor you can, not to push and test the limits of the rules. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| I agree with doug, if yall are just going to start trying to push the rules not only will you most likely get disqualified, but it might discourage the higher ups from doing at again, do yall really want to do that | |

| Lol i was was kidding about the atv parts , just being technical, i already have another idea and i have settled on a new one that will qualify and has four points of contact lol. there might be a trike in the works with the foote if i decide its strong enough for the application. | |

| Cool , i would like to see what you would come up with for an entry, i am going for cheap and fun builds because of the big dawgs that are also entering this year are most likey going to win because of their fan base and good build ideas | |

| I'm think of a truly slammed mower, like maybe 1 inch off the ground, and as fast as I can make it | |

| Ive always wanted to do something like that, but it would need to be taller to go over the dirt road ridges or it would bottom out every 6 seconds . Oh and them front brakes so you can do burn outs! id vote for a rig that can do burn outs! | |

| It is flying by. I am always excited to see the new builds. This year, if all the talk so far comes to the table, will be an exceptional year. I think this will be the year for some interesting and fun builds that have not been done! I cannot wait! | |

| yep this year could get interesting if everyone actually builds what they have posted. I see the point of sticking to the modded LT/GT frame thing, but there is also the side of taking the guts out of those and using them to make something a little different. That makes more sense to me than putting gocart parts on a custom frame and slapping a hood on it and calling it a mower. I am not calling anyone out or trying to piss anyone off, just making an observation. | |

| Not open yet, but when it is you just take a pic of the parts pile and a sign with the password, then post it on the build forum. | |

The build off starts in February and on feb 1 the password will be released then you put the password and your info on a sign and take a pic of it on your parts pile then post that , You can look at last years entries to see how they did it. | |

| I checked the long range forecast. This weekend looks good for rounding up parts but most of Feb is going to be 10-15 degrees below average. It aint worth heating the shop for tinkering on junk. It will be a slow build for the first 6 weeks unless the weather guessers got it wrong. I still have not finished cleaning up the shop from the last build. The first step will be to rebuild 4 hydros. I can sneak those into work where it is warm | |
