I ended up getting the braces welded in and the front mount trimmed off this morning:



I forgot to make a leading edge for the front, but I can do that anytime.



Should work quite nicely! Gonna have to hit the trails and try 'er out now, haha.

Thanks Rich, I actually took to the trails for a little bit after I put it back on and it worked great!

Even got a sweet front wheel off the ground shot!





Works good! I had it rub against an idler a couple times when the frame flexed and it made a little bit of noise, but that's pretty minor.

Next up, skidplates!

Had the GT out in the snow today. There weren't any real deep spots obviously, but it was still lots of fun!

Looks fun! Wish i had some deeper snow to mess around in here.

Yeah it's pretty much all melted here now. I think it was kind of just a warning, haha.

Went out for a little bit of trail maintenance with the GT today, biggest thing was a tree that had fallen right across the path.



Cut up and moved out of the way:



All clear again! Did a little bit of cruising around after that, we've been getting a ton of rain so there's water everywhere:





Lots of mess to play in! Haha.

I see you making good use of the hood rack.  So... did you give that field puddle a go?  

Yeah the hood rack is real nice to have, I toss stuff up on there all the time. Also I did bomb through the water, haha. You have to cross it to get to the trail entrance over on the left.

Well we got my cousins four-wheeler running today, so it seemed like a good time to hit all the trails!

Had lots of fun! Then I jacked 'er up when we got back to check the front wheel bearings and what not.

Yeah looks like I'll be picking up a bearing kit, probably do both sides too cuz they were both a bit loose.

Oh well, still had lots of fun!

Forgot to update the other day, but picked up two trailer bearing kits for the ol' GT.



New bearings, races, seals, and even some shiny dust caps!!



Good to go, then we did some ridin' again.







Should last a long time now!

Thanks fellas! Yeah the hood rack definitely comes in handy quite often.

By golly it's been a while fellas, but now that things have settled a little bit up here I've been going back down to the farm quite often and messing with my tractors again.



Obviously my trails haven't seen any riding in a few months so yesterday I figured it'd be a good idea to go see if we had any clearing to do.

Didn't find anything for the first little while, but then I found this mess:



Big ol tree on top of a couple others. I wasn't equipped to clear the whole thing, so I just clear all the big branches that were blocking the trail and carried on.

Checked out my other usual spots, and went to cross a gulley like I usually do but went in the wrong spot and ended up stuck.



Went in the deep section, whoops! I went in so sharp the bumper went right into the ground, haha. But with a little work and some help from the winch I got 'er out no problem.



Then I got some wheeling time in today and took some more pictures:













Had tons of fun and she's still working great, glad to be back at it again!

Nice shots there AK!  You know the GT could haul that tree out of the way.. LOL

Hey AK, I may have to give my freebee Craftsman a similar hood/grill treatment you gave yours!  Prices for the replacement grill are out of this world and hard to find.  Dang ol' plastic grill.  Then again yours was metal like my green machine.

Here's mine.  Think it would look good with your style grill?

I'd say mount some LEDs behind AK's grill design. It would give that late 60's muscle car look.
