Thanks Rich, haha. I did think about that but I doubt I'll ever find something to cave it in. (famous last words) A little steel skidplate underneath the muffler would be neat though, wouldn't loose much ground clearance.

So today I decided to make a simple steering stop modification on the GT now that the bigger tires are on the front.



Basically just a bolt going through the axle and a nut which is welded on the other side. Then just a second nut threaded on to act as a jam nut.





Works pretty good! Not sure if it was really neccessary, but it's nice to know the stops are there.

Good piece of mind should you hit a bump while turning.

Yeah, haha. I figured with my luck it'd happen and break something.

Yeah steering stops are always a good idea.  This one's adjustable too.  Nice!

So I got something kinda neat in the mail today:



Haha, yeah I ordered these nice tires online a few days ago. They showed up today so I took the old turf tires off the rims and mounted these up!





They're 26x10-12 Deestone Swamp Witch tires, might have to do a bit of fender trimming but it'll be worth it for sure. As you can see they have some pretty decent tread depth so they should work great, I'm gonna get them bolted back on tomorrow and do a bit of testing do see how they do.

Holy cow, those are awesome! Do you plan to lock it too?

Eh, maybe. Probably not really necessary for the kind of stuff it's gonna be doing. We'll see how it does, I'm fairly certain that now there will be no lack or traction with a locked or open differential, haha.

Those look great!  Maybe you don't have to trim. I got those 14 inch wheels under my craftsman.

Thanks fellas, I actually got 'em on today and I found out I didn't have to trim or bend my fenders at all! Pretty handy, haha.

Man these tires PULL!! I had it in some real mucky clay type stuff and didn't get stuck. Definitely happy with them so far.



I like the way they take up the fender space as well, just barely clears. Hahaha.

Hahaha, thanks. I've never owned Executioners so I'm not sure if they are better. But looking at the treads these are a bit closer together so I think they'd be a bit better on rocks but maybe won't self-clean as well. I love 'em so far though, even with the low wheel speed of this rig they clean out easy. Also they were $230 CDN shipped to the post office in my town.

ExExecutioners are about 200 for 2 and free shipping. But those tires look mean! ProProbably a smosmooyher ride too

Okay so don't mean to change the subject, but at least I know I'm not the only one it's happening to on mobile, it keeps repeating past syllables, and then when you hit backspace, it does it again and sometimes repeats the whole word!
