Yeah and with the double bevel gears and no reverse chain from the mst that used to be on the murray ,and being doc locked it might hold up ( hopefully) The mst gears are like twice as beefy as the stock 930 gears are.

It lives again! right now it only has shift before you go cause i havent rigged up the shifter yet but the tranny seems to do ok, it is a bit stiff but should free up after some riding. tires do well , one leaks so i need to tube it. The axle is a solid one with some of docs ideas but its more improved than his early design.

How is the 3-link holding up?

Those tranny brackets look like a good starting point for some kind of a skid plate.

Yeah i have wanted to put on a skid plate. The three link is working great, but not having ridden the murray for a couple weeks and having the craftsman running now i never realized how ruff and noisy it is.

Well the craftsman is quite and smooth so there is just a huge ride quality differance

Woulda thought the Murray would be the smooth one, having the suspension and all.

Its frame has flex and is super light weight , the LT4000 is heavy, has no frame flex, and better seat springs lol

Seat springs keep your spine from braking, might wanna swap 'em.

I think the big front tires on your LT4000 help with ride quality a lot too. There's a lot of rubber there to soak up bumps and they look frickin cool too.

i have the murrays front tires mostly deflated with tubes in them so i dont know if that has much to do with it .

How did you get those tires onto the trailer?  They look like the stock front tires, been trying to do that myself.

This trailer had wider but smaller tires on it and had plenty of spare axle room for stock front mower tires.

Yeah we still work our off-roaders on a regular basis at the farm. Usually pulling gravity wagons, digging up the ground with a harrow, hauling scrap or timber away, fun stuff like that haha.

Ice romp!

We are getting the not fun kind of ice down here in OK.

It's the not fun kind for life but it's fun to play in! Roads are pretty bad and dangerous here.

Ours isn't even the fun to play in kind.

I would love some 4ft deep snow to play in.

I get like a half inch of snow every four years.
