I don't think that is always true. I get pretty good fuel consumption with my oppy's. But yeah, small tank. | |

I don't think that is always true. I get pretty good fuel consumption with my oppy's. But yeah, small tank. My 16hp horizontal twin I use for mowing seems to just drink fuel. But my 18hp vertical on MUTT is pretty good on fuel consumption, but having a 4 gallon tank helps a lot | |

| Nope no hood . My first couple of mowers i got never had hoods , or the plastic broke because Craftsman hoods aren't that durable. The engine is a 17.5 HP and it will drain the fuel tank in about 45 min of light riding . But once you hit some mud it gulps it up , not so fun walking a couple miles back home to get a gas can . | |
