Fun fact, she will sit up on 3 wheels if you lock the front axle. Anyways I did get the trans back in and the shifter issues fixed, it's all nice and tight now.
First real upgrade in several months, put in an ammeter today. Noticed she doesn't charge much at idle, but when you wind her up the needle jumps up some. Although maybe that's because the battery is charged for once.
Accidentally rolled Mutt over today and she dumped oil out of the air cleaner from the PCV. Started right back up and smoked a ton, surprised she didn't foul the plugs and quit. Oil all over the place.
Made a main jet needle in machine tool. 40tpi is absolutely horrendous to cut. It's not done in this pic but yeah. Anyways it works but i can never get it to stop blowing black smoke on acceleration.
I got fed up with how terrible the throttle response is on this thing so i pulled the heads and valves off and gave this thing the Dremel treatment. Only got a pic of the eyebrows on the one side. Used a radial file so it kind of turned out to a tumble finish but it's not that bad.
To get the valves out i ended up making my own valve spring compressor out of some pliers and steel. Put a hose clamp on the handle to hold the spring, was actually pretty handy. Not as nice as the real tool though.
I usually use zip ties to get the valve springs off and on, works pretty well, and I don't have to buy a $30 tool I'm only going to use once in a blue moon and when I need it it's going to be lost, lol.

It will be really difficult to get the throttle rigged up so both carbs give the exact same amount of Fuel Air Mixture into each cylinder. With the Dual Barrel U had that problem solved! But U have a AAS which sucks!

Actually Mr.mod did dual Teccy carbs on the oppy in his GTR 4 Zero and it worked pretty good for him. Probably not really that difficult to pull it off.
