Have had ones that had bad rings so they ran a little hot but other than that it was never enough to make them run badly except for burning just enough oil to create an invisible cloud of fumes that hung over you while driving

I don't even think the idle jet is being used, it's just using the main all the time. Just a theory though. Might start swapping around carbs again.

Tried the one carb i didnt wanna try because it's a pain in the arse to take off(horizontal). I think she runs perfect, not gonna say for sure cause then it wont. Weoo. The carb that runs like crap still runs like crap on the good (and governed) engine. I mean it runs without surging, but it's really rough and it's obviously running fat. I'm putting together another carb together to put on this horizontal, luckily i found another main jet to put in one

Remnants of the old brake pads lol. I found another pad to replace the one side and i reused the other because i don't feel like getting cancer from cutting brake pads out today

I literally have to take the drag link, clutch linkage, and a belt keeper off to get the belt off. Oh and she's getting a new belt tomorrow. This one has done well over the past year and a half ish, i think it's time to retire it

I forgot the clutch has absolutely minimal travel with a really fresh belt, so it was kinda interesting in the lower gears where i couldn't rev match. She will slip if you have her in a high gear and push in the clutch. I have a plan to fix it(angle grinder maybe lol), if it doesn't wear in soon enough.

Anyways i cut out a spot in the clutch mount and now there's a lot more travel.
