I like how the tie rod is up outta the way, that's pretty nice. Drag link still seems chinsey to me though. The way I like to have my stuff is that if you can't stand on it without it bending or snapping, it's probably not strong enough. On Mutt I can stand on my hood, bumper, or any of my steering linkages/arms without them bending. Never had a problem with them breaking. Wish I could say the same about the steering box though haha.

The drag link does look kinda flimsy, but it's not hollow or anything so I'm thinkin' it'll be alright. Hopefully anyway haha.

There isn't any way to bring it over the axle is there? Pick it up, and give more ground clearance?

I think I'm gonna bend the steering arm up as close to the bottom of the axle as possible, and then re-shape the drag link to work with that. At least that way it'll be as high up as it can be. Maybe I'll try that this weekend.

That's a good idea. Only looks like 3/16" or 1/4", shouldnt be too hard.

I know you changed it up for steering ratio, but I fear you are going to grab it on something and it's gonna turn you left hard sometime.

Yeah that's probably what I'll end up doing. Haha, it is a nice working setup.

I suppose it is a possibility, but I'm not really worried about it. I plan on adding a front skidplate sometime and that would protect the steering arm pretty good.

Hmm a front axle skid plate? i would like to see that! or you could put a steering arm on top of the spindle like mine lol.

Now i just need to figure out my lt4000 suspension ...

I'm planning one too for my build-off murray. at least it is my hopes.

I need a skid plate on Nellybelle, also plan on using a belly pan.

I thought about that biggas, but there's no way I could put the steering arm on top of the spindle and keep the same ratio, the arm would be way too short. Also it would only run to the left spindle since the pitman arm is on that side, and the steering would be backwards then. That doesn't sounds very ideal, haha. Hopefully I can get the a nice heavy skidplate mounted up and then I won't have to worry about any of my front axle stuff.

You need a rack and pinion! Drop that steering arm!

Haha, that might be an issue with the steering arms out front.
