Fitted bigger tyres today.  
Very happy with the new look and capability.  Taller so more top speed.  Wider so bigger footprint with much better grip on loose ground.  The narrower tyres tended to dig down not forward.


Tyres are 26x12.00-12 BKT TR315 TL 4 ply

Rear end is lifted up now, better ground clearance and more level looking.  Very happy with the new tyres.

Lokks good. Very tight fit against those fenders lol.

Those tires are HUGE! Looks great with those larger fronts. Much nicer stance!

Just clears the fender lol. Those tyres are massive! Betcha they weren't cheap hahaha

Fronts are 18x6.5-8
Rears are 26x12-12

Cheers MatthewD Yep I reckon they're the biggest that fit under the fenders. Loving those tyres  Price?? Well one was dirt cheap donated to a charity on eBay, then I had to go buy a matching one at full price about £90 inc shipping from Germany

Very different being brown but i dig it a lot!! Suits the mower great i think and nice build btw very clean and simple!

Been messing with my phone to film,edit and upload a quick romparound video now the project is pretty much finished.  A pin with R clip to restrain the hood for safety purposes as per ATLTF build off rules and that's about it I reckon.
Let me know what u think.
The factory brakes are excellent so stuck with that.  Rear is unlocked still and I've not got stuck yet because of it.  If all else fails, set it running in low range first, jump off and lift the towball or front bumper to help it climb out of trouble
& I like how the front bumper looks like a grumpy lower lip

Looks great! The brakes on the 633/ 2300 series are really good. And those ags are mesmerizing lol.

Not exactly a romp but a steep slippery track is still terrain as in 'all terrain' right?!

Yes my hitch is too darn high, had to take the roller off or the brushes were up in mid air  full of wet leaves and moss it drags its rear end along in a most undignified manner, but it's still super effective  
My brother built this contraption for a much lower hitch many moons ago. I've dragged it out into the daylight after ten years disuse under a tarp in a field so rusty and cobwebby and the 5hp Briggs was a smoker already and a beach to start especially as the whole brush mech has to turn with the engine all the time. Refinement needed  
The basic idea is sound so I'm thinking to build me a better one with an on off clutch of some sort, matching hitch height etc.  It will be glorious. Yeeha

Simple R-clip to secure the hood as per build off rules.  Hoods popping open during over zealous romping always looks like decapitation in progress
So with that detail sorted out I think my Roper Romper can now be declared finished Yay
Meanwhile here's a quick vid of my project with close ups of the 'Pull To Stop' and the foot throttle which has worked out well ~ it's based around a steel tube sleeved onto the bar that supports the foot board.  This could be done on any of the Sears Suburbans/Customs
Very happy with the finished tractor. Like many others I can blame Fearlessfront for a lot of aspects then I found my way to ATLTF via finding Mr Modified's Baja Sears on YouTube.  Thanks 4 the inspiration
