Does it have a glow plug? My 6hp doesn't and I don't think it needs it. It had been sitting for over a month and started up first pull!
No I dont think it does but it should be fine and the nice thing is that it has electric start along with the pull start so you dont have to pull it in the cold

Yes it will take a bit to get tge exaust hooked up to the turbo but I think.hooking up the oil lines is going to be the hard part and im going to turn up the fuel pump so when the turbo us on I will get more air and more fuel so it should make a bit more power in the end how much I do not know

What kind of turbo are you planning on using? Something like a smaller turbo from a diesel motor. I would think at top end depending on how much you adjust the governor and such, you could get about 5ish (this is an estimate, i dont know what you have for a turbo so i cant really guess to wildly) psi. Good luck on the turbo!

Im planning on using a small turbo from a car it dosent necessarily have to be from a diesel engine but im doing it this way to keep the cost down but still will make plenty of air to give this motor some power I really hope I can get it to work and give it a couple more horsepower

Got the engine going after sitting for about 5 years all I did was take off the air filter and put a heat gun to the intake as my dad pulled it over and it started first pull!! very impressed unfortunatley the starter didnt work and I think it needs a new one but im still very impressed smokes quite a bit when it started too

I got alot done today im really happy with the progress the motor is huge in the tractor and I might have to cut a hole in the hood for the valve cover and I will probably raise the hood but I have something cool planned for the hole in the hood that will be done torwards the end now we need to make the mounts and setup the fuel tank for the fuel return line and I also got 2 winches the yellow one is 3000LBS the red one is 2500LBS

Holy smokes, that things huge! How much do you think it weighs? What id do is run the stock grill, and get a big sheet of sheet metal and bend it up/cut it up around the engine so it pokes through, and you wont be cutting the stock hood up. Ive sold stock hoods before for a little bit too.

Yea Its very big and its only 7.5hp! Im guessing it weighs about 150+lbs but I think im just gonna cut the hood and put a hood scoop over the hole so it looks good it will save me the time
