Yeah! That's what I was trying to say, I figured the housings could be rotated 90 degrees to achieve proper steering.

Yeah I totally missed that. I had just assumed they were cast into the case. But when I assume, i make an ASS out of U or ME hehehe

I would like to ask everyone to please get back to the core of the build at hand. For now the only goal is a 2wd 3 speed with solid mount rear. To pull off anything more before the 30th would be total insanity...

Its the most beat and Junky one I have. It have another in way better condition but figured find the week points on a junk one first.

I think it would be stronger because you really don't have the belt wanting to pull it to the side now. I think the next weak link will be the shaft itself.

Im willing to bed the input pinion strips too.

Gotta use a internal gear swapped 820 as your transfer case! That'll give you some better speed

Probably be the best way to do it, unless you can modify the FNR to be closer to 1:1 final since thats what kills the speed.

So the Goal after the build off will be to find a 4 inch trans pulley and relocate the clutch back 2 inches to allow a 7 to 8ish engine pulley. I might start with a 6 inch Engine and 4 inch trans first to cut down on the fab work needed to start.

Upgrading to 22 inch tires from the 18 on it now will help as well. Doc sprocket and I have talked out an idea for a solid axle FNR build that will let me run normal 3/4 axle rims.

Man- you pulled that out in short order. Way to go! Love the unique driveline. Later on? 4x4, and *POOF* Rockcrawling domination!
