? for the admins of due date

in the rules it says the contest ends nov 30th and if your build is not completed by the final announcement on nov 30th it does not qualify to be entered and judged, what time will this final announcement be made? it is dark outside right now and i would like to make an unavailing video in the day time but i do not get off work until 430 nov 30th, do i need to cut it safe and make the video tonight or will this final post not be made until the evening.

I'm pretty sure to be legal it has to move under it's own power and have all the controls working and hooked up. As far as the deadline, I think midnight Nov 30th should be the official cut off point, but I've been wrong about stuff before.

i am by no means certain on this, but i will reach out to management and find out, but i would imagine the cutoff is midnight tomorrow, just like in past years. i will get back to you though

official word from Doc Sprocket himself is "10 PM EST or thereabouts"... so id say youre safe.. better wrap it up quick there boss

thanks willis, i too also talked to doc and he cleared it up for me so i went ahead and made my video tonight, in the process of uploading it now
