LOL, I'm one of the few here who were around to watch it LIVE in '85 LOL

Did a bit of research but can't find all that much info on why elliott had such a fast car compared with everyone else. Except they were setting up their suspension a bit stiffer than most people tended to do at the time. I think that particular body style was a bit more rounded than most of the other models still being used. Maybe that had a lot to do with it.

Lawn mower derbys seem to be a popular thing in central and eastern ky. I've never been to one myself. If I had one near me I'd definitely be up for it! Just throw a little cage around mutt, lol. Should be fine.

I've seen some of them where the tractors weren't nearly as beefed up as in this video. These don't look so much like tractors anymore but still kinda neat.
