Stretch's annual tractor fest! sept 20th, 2014

Tiro, Ohio, about 1 hour north of Columbus.

It's that time again, this is about the 12th year in a row.

All day Saturday. Will have a race course set up. May add a timed woods course, and mud pit, depending on interest. Possible obstacle course.

Some food available, plan to bring some to share, chairs, and tractors.

Kid friendly during the early day, adult's later on. Every is welcome to stay the night. Some camper accommodations may be available, otherwise, bring a tent.

Stay away from the fields, and tall grass(it's tall for a reason... big rocks...).

No smoking anywhere near the barn. Camper with crapper on site.

Would love to see a big turnout of modded mowers! Whatever ya got, we will find a way for it to show off!

That's odd.. This post was on the calendar, not sure why it showed up in forums. Sept 20th, one month from now.

Can't wait!  One of my favorite yearly events!

Edited to add - people are welcome to bring their tractors but it's not a requirement.

If we can get you and a couple pals here, I will make sure we have a bog and ride ready... We have a creek, with a soft bottom, and hill/woods nearby I can use.

Ill talk to the local guys and the the wife and see what we can do

That's just too far away for me, but thanks for putting this on. Hopefully the tractor scene will keep growing here in New England / New York. It would be fun to romp tractors with a group!

So, for us poor saps who cant come... someone ought to better be taking lots of pictures eh?

I've been busy building the new woods course, it is going to be a blast. Should have some video up later today.

Here ya go, first vid of the new course. Need to get the go pro out, and do a couple fast laps. Also we are going to be adding more paths, I'm guessing it's going to end up being about twice the size it is now.

The new course is done! It has hills, creek, turns, rocks, and fast straights. Here's a video of the tractor on the course. Still going a little slow, learning it, and had camera on the tractor.

well with all this rain Im hoping you guys get too there should be a mud bog! cant wait gonna get a new belt for the massey and test out that locker!

Its almost go time! We are pretty much ready (are you ever completely ready?)

Wonderful to hear there will be a couple more ATLTF'rs at the party this year! Should be lots of pics and vids afterward! If anyone else is interested in going, PM me or Stretch for address / directions.

Well figured I'd post a little. Trb has a bit of video to edit up I didn't bother to record anything however the tractor party was a epic success people came I learned a bit (as I do every time I make the trip) picked some brains had some beers murdered a chair :V but all in all a terrific time. I didn't record anything because I used the opportunity to escape the stress and have fun maybe next time :p

Overall, I'd say 30-40 people showed up. No drama, couple of crashes, and some bruises, but no bad injuries. Excellent weather, good offroading races, and grass racing, and even some under the lights runs. Had plenty of good food, drink, and a campfire.

And I won the woods time trial, with a 57 second run... Flipped the tractor on my first run, right at the end. Dan had a 1:02 or :03 run. Don't remember what mowheeler and friends had for a time.

TRB should have video of the woods stuff.

I do have a Realtree hoodie that was left behind.

Also, someone knocked a bunch of corn down. Clearly stated in rules to stay out of fields. That's not cool, it's not my field. Also, the owner of the field is nice enough to let us use the creek as a off road area.

You just can't get them to leave the corn alone!

I think the corn was from the go-kart accident when the tie rod came apart can't remember for sure and the hood in was mowheelers cousins? Offroad course is pretty epic though loved the shade!
