2014 ARMA Build Clinic. Debunked Myths, Tips and Tricks

First off, I want to say thanks to Phil, Aaron, Deeter Motorsports and everybody else for putting on the build clinic. I had a great time and it was awesome to meet up with a bunch of seasoned racers and get some good word-of-mouth tried-and-true info and to hear your stories. I highly suggest to anybody else who is interested in this stuff to try and make it to a future clinic, as everybody that was there was just a great bunch of people.

Anyways, I forgot my notepad in the beginning so I missed the steering stuff, however I did keep the clinic packet and will scan/ copy that stuff over into a stickied post in the Steering forum. Most of it is known, but the key stuff is the Toe, Camber, etc for high-speed racing.

The rest of the notes I have is transaxle related. This is also going into its own post here.

Looks like a go kart chassis lol, nice rigs and info.

Pretty much. I think these were supermod, cant remember. I think Junkstar got vidya of the owner going over them, not sure. But a lot of the chassis are custom 1x2" tubing. Aaron was saying how one chassis could qualify for like 8 classes.

nice bit of info, im bout an hour and a half from the races, i might go to em when they have them. Thanks for posting this stuff

Im going to try and go to a couple too. Great bunch of people, its basically one giant family.
