Having trouble finding front rims for 1 in shafts because most cubs have 3/4 shafts. But i ordered my wiring harness should have it by monday so i can start wiring it im going to buy some 10-30 oil so when i wire it i can start it up and im going to buy some atf for the tranny and im ordering my seat either today or tomorrow. so im getting closer

Painted the solenoid

My wiring harness came today and i got the tractor all wired up tomorrow im going to make the wiring all pretty and neat

Got some temporary wheels just so i can drive it

Got a filter not the right one but a filter


Bolted down the fenders

Put on a fuel line



Started her up and drove it dang its fast it has a oil leak so im going to fix that and theres a leak behind the tranny pump so im going to fix that

And for anyone whos wondering the cardboard box you see in the picture is just there to catch oil from the exhaust because it doesn't have one yet and i didn't want oil all over my paint

I had a valve cover leak and a cam cover leak i made 2 new gaskets and permatex ultra black silicone on them and im going to let it dry and tomorrow i put oil in it and see if any leaks out.

and the tranny has a leak and i cant get to it with rtv silicone what can i add into the tranny fluid to stop it from leaking?

A couple of oil leaks lets you know it's vintage. Got a running machine now anyway!

Haha yep i don't mind dumping in oil every once in awhile its just the tranny fluid thats stuff isn't cheap and it just pees that stuff out lol

I fixed the engine leak and the tranny leak i had to pull the fenders,tires,tranny,linkages then pull the pump off the tranny then siliconed it then threw it back together and it stopped leaking. now i'm just touching up where i scratched paint i'm going to put a battery in it tomorrow going to steal it out of one of my other mowers.

IF you can't reach it with rtv there's really not much more flexible stuff than that... other than a dissasemble again

I fixed the leak i had to pull it apart again

Started repairing the hood a 3rd time lol
