TD's John Deere 210 R - "Help I Shrunk my John Deere 210"!

Need some of you Nor'eastern boys to head out on yer boats and hijack his shipment lol

Only diff in how TD lays his stuff out is a computer draws the stuff on the paper... I sketch... cardboard/posterboard is the BEST way to mock up sheet steel or tinwork. To all you fellers who need to do some fab work in metal, spend a coupla bucks on some posterboard and tape FIRST. It will save you a LOT in the long run.

TD has his drawings and access to a water cutter... He'd be a fool not to use them. Nothing he does though couldn't be done with a torch, some die grinders, and some elbow grease. This contest is all about imagination and fabrication, and THAT TD (and a lot of others here) has in spades.

That's so true, But I learned how to draw on my own, to be able to get stuff cut. And I always sketch stuff up first on paper/ cardboard and tape. And it's not that I could'nt have made it "the hard way", it just saves alot of time.

Coffee Black please!   

plenty strong at that thickness, and much lighter. Should help prevent galvanic corrosion between the mating surfaces if ya use SS bolts.

It has less copper than the T-6061 so there's barely any worry about corrosion.

Here's half of the threated seat, one coat. - If you keep coating it, it'll get darker and darker and can be used as primer.
Guess I'll just polish it like this, then clear coat it.

i reckon it doesn't match your build style, but that rusty patina would be beautiful on a rat rod style build

Yeah I love that rusted look (but it had to get the rust to stop), and this will be somewhat of a Rat Rod Look in the end I think, Idk yet.
