| so lift kit on the truck is done now im gearing up to finish my sears ss16 then start the lifted and the speed mowers. So I'm seeking advice as to whether or not I should fab up a grill for the quality monster mower or buy a factory grill off the net? | |

| In planning im wanting to use a truck style 5 lug rim and tires whats the best looking way to accomplish it? ik cutting and reworking the factory mower rims is an option but does it really look good? | |

| its all preference. id use a 4 or 5 lug rim due to it being a bigger mower. Look around at other mowers and go from there. You might see something you like more than what we say. | |

| I say you lift it exactly that tall, I hate the guys who lift it really tall, and put really small tires on it, or when they lift it more in the front, so they can put on the regular tires. When you lift it, its like a truck, the only reason to lift it is to either get out of the water, or fit some big tires under it. Also, if you're using those rims, and tires, green isn't the best color for it, I'm thinking grey. | |

i agree with him, i think if you do a lift, everything else should change with it. For example, like a 5 inch lift, youll need suspension if you didnt have any and the tires need to be bigger for it to look good. Unless you have some crazy awesome idea. | |

| lol well lifting it till the highest point is 81 inches migjt be my route and as far as the wheels I traded for 2 other sets of 8 lugs but either way I plan on painting it a different color since green isnt really my favorite color. something more along the lines of midnight blue and black. | |

| if you are using photobucket, if you copy the link that says IMG, its right under the HTML and Direct links, it will bring the pictures up on this website instead of having to go to photobucket to see em. Like this | |

| Gettin closer. So far the top of the dash is setting at 61 inches roughly. 20 more inches and it'll be at its resting height THEN I can start buying all the parts and metals I need and want to get the lift fabbed up and fitted to the original chassis. | |
