So the grill on my craftsman was loose and upon further inspections it seems the 2 bottom bolts were missing the threads
so I bought the hammer in thread at LOWES 4pcs for like 2-3$ along with some 1/4 x20 bolts for it and it seems to fit nicely
ill check it out tmrw at work

You can weld a bolt on there, someone on here might have a better suggestion tho. At worse you might have a drill and tap a new hole.

dont weld a bolt, find a nut that just barely slides over the broken stud, weld it on hot, I mean almost melting the nut hot. let it cool for about 3 mins and then it will come right out. the welder heats up the stud and will break it loose.

you might be able to bite on it with vice grips. but like the others are suggesting, weld a nut on, weld it super hot, and back it off

Dremel or hacksaw a flathead in the remaining bolt, then use a flat screwdriver.
