| Hey u made anymore progress on this one yet? I'm interested in seeing how u made ur adapters bc ive got 8 lug wheels too so im trying to figure out exactly how I wanna do it bc cutting up the original wheel is an option but im also thinking will it look the best. | |

| I haven't done much besides getting a steering rack for it but for the front I'm using factory's with the 8 lug plates I'm gonna weld em together with studs, and for the rear I'm using some plate cause I have to go from 5 lug to 8 lug, if you look back through the build I have pics of the front adapters mocked up | |

| I kind of forgot about this thing, I remember when you started on it. As far as fitting your rack and pinion, you can take off one tie rod end and mount it parallel with your frame if you have too, to save space up front. Instead of hooking each side to the wheels. Of course you need a rod between the wheels then to hook them together if you know what I mean. When you get back to it that is. I've seen them used that way on old dirt cars. I think the tires look just about right, size wise. Did you guys mount those by hand? | |
