What have you done to your tractor today?

Putting an old hood on a newer tractor!

Just kinda stared at it pondering life and death lol.

I'm trying to remove some decals from the hood.

Rehooked my front lights up. Removed my rear lights. Planning for fender flares.

trying to sort out my electrical, the ignition won't turn over the engine so I hooked up another ignition and blew my fuse! I tested the solenoid by connecting a wire to the positive battery terminal and the small ignition terminal on the solenoid, the solenoid is fine so that isn't my issue. but other then that, I am purchasing new front tires tonight 20 x 8 x 8 and later on getting 22 x 9 x 8 for the back. just got my carburetor kit in today and a new bowl so I can start to hook up my fuel system

Around 1am today I finally got my steering box mounted. Now I just gotta work out a drag link.

last night on my actual Mowing tractor, I mowed until 10:15 last night making the neighbors happy. I only got the back yard done. I still lack the front. Amazing what a yard can do after a week of 5 inches of rain when we were gone. I was trying to beat the rain we had last night as our grass is thick and mowing it wet isn't an option.

I did make and install Wheelie bars made from mower deck hardware on the Sasquatch.

Try Windex to remove the decals.

I hooked up the fuel line T tonight. Found fuel line I didn't know I had that fit the carb fitting perfectly. Now to just get the line hooked to the tank, and secure the line going over the top of the engine to the top shroud so it stays out of the fan.

Perhaps a fan guard is a good idea. It didn't have one when I got it so I could make one.

I plan on dropping the front axle and maybe reweld.

I drilled a small hole in the filler neck on my tank and ran the over engine return to it... Will work til I can get a proper fitting.

Works a charm, no flooding, no dying, no cutting out.... even ran with the air filter on. That's a new one.

It sorely needs a taller set of gears, that kohler winds out all 6 like there's nothing there. I bet it would do 5 front and 3.5 rear.

tightened the shifter bolt, no more sloopy sh*t, charged up the batteries and rode it a little..

I put the Sasquatch back on 4 wheels!!!

Yesterday I went to the scrapyard and overspent, today I dug the Simplicity out and got her going again, and my buddy Luke picked up his MTD today. He's already hooked!

New to me AlKo 10/36 (rebadged Noma) Oil (sludge) change, new plug, air filter, fuel filter, adjusted throttle cable, four new tyres, today will trying to remove excess play fron the front axle pivot points, hoping there are bushes....

Started Mutt up and let her run a bit today. I already have finding a trans to worry about, don't want schmoo sticking up the carb to think about too.

It's a kind of therapy to hear the motor run, even if it does not drive at this time.

Removed the complete front axle to find where all the slop is coming from, swivels are not too bad, but the pivot at the centre of the axle casing is seriously worn, so I need to visit a welder chum to weld and redrill to tighten things up....also modded a pair of plastic trailer fenders to fit over the rear wheels, replacong the rotten steel ones....

Yesterday saw a trip for my annual Ministry of Transport roadworthiness test on my D90 Land Rover Defender and then on for a full service, while at the garage my good friend welded up the sloppy pivot points on the axle and its removable crossmember
Today saw it all reassembled with loads of grease, fitted some modded plastic trailer guards and took the clunker up our lane for a test run......
Axle is soooo much better and not flapping about

I fixed my tractor today and got a (thought) hopeless engine running !!!

Modified my belt guard and added a stop for my gas pedal

finally some better lights for about 7 bucks each can go wrong

Fiberglassed the cracks in my 70s Suburban gas tank. Heres hopin it works!

Took apart the broke doc locker 2.0 to fix it and decided that the axle is shot.
