| Pulled the deck off my dad's Ryobi (MTD) rider, he shredded the deck belt. Put one of mine on but its a 1/2" instead of 5/8" so it slipps, and so I'll have to get a 5/8 belt and pull the deck off again. I am going to buy a belt for the landlord's deck so I can mow with it. Can't find a definite length for it though. | |

| Eh I havent done much, I just got a welder but finding a place to get metal cheap is a big pain, im still hunting for a place. Whats cool is if you actually have ONE mower that ACTUALLY mows and you buy a set of flashing led cop lights, and mow the lawn.....The odd person the does drive buy is always slowing down its way to funny......Or when hauling hay with it and people come outta their houses like what the heck | |

| I finished prep on my tractor for the upcoming Haspin trip with the addition of 2 flush mounted LED headlights to replace the busted up incandescents that I had on it. They are nice and bright! | |

| I ripped all the deck lift parts out of my MTD, then welded some angle iron in on a couple spots. No more "cookie sheet" frame! | Greetings,
I hassled with the rewiring job I have been working on for a week and a half on my JD D125, I finally got the starter working again (wasn't grounded to the engine block for some reason, even though it is mounted to it) using an extra ground wire, now to figure out why she won't crank..... oh, and recharge the battery, drained it somehow.

| Howdy guys,
I got the no spark condition figured out, my coils/magnetos have too much resistance to get good spark supposed to be 2.5k-5k, mine are sitting at 7k, so getting some spark but not enough to go vroom. Will update when I get the coils replaced.

| spent the last coupla days reviving a dead mtd (white outdoor) 12 HP riding mower that was sitting in the yard when I arrived here in Illinois. welded the broken spindle where the tie rod bolts on, aired up all 4 flats, added oil, gas, charged battery... and WHAM! it started and ran. bit of a knock, and a good bit of smoke, but it was running well enough I cut about half the lawn.... then the death rattle occurred.
Seems that the knock I was hearing was from a LOT of rod wear at the crank, and the thing finally just galled itself to death.
Cousins son in law had an 18 hp oppy under his porch that had quit on him, he didn't know why.... so I checked the first thing every non running briggs owner should check... the shear pin was sheared. went over the engine, rebuilt the starter, added some gas and oil, and the beastie lives.
