| Today was "let's change our clothes again" day.
I finally got around to fabbing up an intake manifold for my go kart. Slapped that shiny new Mikuni on my shiny new clone, and bombed it onto the kart. Got it running, and took a few high-speed passes up the road. Gravel road. Potholes. Recent rain. Wet ass, wet legs, wet feet, wet shirt... Yuck!
So I went and changed into some dry gear. Then, I decided I really needed to get to the oil change on the MULE. Great! Did the change, went for a run. This big nasty mud bog just JUMPED in front of my totally unsuspecting self, leaving my looking like a 5'10" milk chocolate Easter Bunny! (I swear, I didn't see it coming!) Shower, change...
After dinner, I decided to take it for a gentle cruise. Well- It would seem that the seat absorbed some water after I hosed it down, and thanks to the cracks in the vinyl, my beehind was wet for the THIRD time today! AAARRRGGGGHHHHH! LOL
My wife thinks I'm nuts. She might be right.

| Well, let's see.
Bypassed the governor on the 16.5 Briggs, and it lit up like a christmas tree... but the throttle is so touchy I'm just going to do it the right way and remove it proper. Also, picked up that other murray widebody and sold it for 250 as soon as I got back into town. so I get to have some fun getting other mowers figured out but it gives me some things to do after being cooped up for 2-6 weeks. Picked up the same White LT-12 I sold for a 100 dollar bill - for free (don't ask) and drove it home. Smoked some of the wiring the dude put on it... so that is a "tomorrow" project methinks.
Sandrail will be going into the shop for teardown and conversion tomorrow... after falling flat on my back out of an '01 F250's bed I really didn't feel like doing much. Been sitting around for hours debating on taking one of my stupid pills. |

| Resurrected War Machine Mk1 via sacrificial killing of Mk2 lol... no, but I did take the engine and wheels off Mk2's chassis for War Machine to be back on it's 'feet'. Still need to button up some stuff but it's indoors and covered for the next few weeks. |

Careful not to burn yourself on that pipe Yea i know. The good thing about the bigger pipe and tip is that it doesnt get as hot as the smaller pipes. Its still a pita to work on the float in the carb tho. Lol

| Finally got a good filler neck and cap for the tank, pressure tested both tanks, now just welding up the mounts, and figuring out the vent and fuel lines. | |

| Friggin finally got the steering link I wanted like a hem link end from a snowmobile. Bent and fit it back it and really reduced my steering slack. Found 2 820s in the junkyard too. | |

| I got some more work done on the mud bog mower. The engine is cleaned up and painted, did a pulley swap, mounted the battery, made a safety tether kill switch, and started the wiring. | |

| Yesterday, Stretch and I took our rallys out and did a few laps around the barn, and then took a drive around a country block... went around 5 miles or so. Then we brainstormed a little bit on a possible new project involving a FNR trans, and we looked at / discussed building the traxxor. | |
