| Sorry again for the lack of updates, Im still busy trying to fix another tractor to sell.
Plans to do next are to finish mounting the hood and the rest of the sheet metal. Then wiring is the next task, especially finding a place for the battery! And getting brakes on it! Then I can really take it for a test run, before dismantling it and painting everything! That'll be the best bit!

| Small update, not tractor related, but figured I'd tell you why Ive not posted again recently.
Apart from working on two other tractors, one to sell, one to use for hauling dirt for my new shed. Ive landed myself a job now. So although Im gonna have an alright income, it inevitably means less garage time. Still, its not full time, and the times are flexible, so I'll sitll have plenty time to work on it! Plus it means investing in some goodies for this beast!

| Sounds good! What kind of job did u get? Did you get your licence yet? You should also do a vid on your v-dub, I really like the euro-versions you guys get... Not the watered down boring stuff we usually get. | |

Ive had my license for a while now. I can get a video if you cant. Im saving up for some ATS Cups. And wanting to put it on coilovers lowered to 80mm. Then smooth over the bumper strips. I love the euro look! Definatly my favourite. That and rat-spec cars. Im a kitchen porter at a local golf club. Fairly up market, and the kitchen is too small for the amount of people they serve. Its really hard, disgusting work, in a very hot kitchen for long hours. Its really isnt great, but money is money. Plus I get to drive golf carts

| I like the hood idea- wondered how y made those hinges . I think the 'jaws' mouth would look cool wrapping around the sides - the headlights can be the eyes. | |

| Thanks guys. Im really pleased with how it all turned out. Bonnet need some minor adjusting so it shuts smoothly. But its a good start I spose. Really happy with the shark mouth. Im not sure, I was debating weather to have it wrap right round but it could look a bit tacky, maybe another session with the markers will find out, unless any of you are any good at photoshop? (HINT!) | |

| Okay, it's unlikely I'll have nay updates in the next week. Heading up to Bute with 16 other friends for a week, should be good, but it means to tractor time. Hopefully after that I'll tear it down, paint the chassis, the wire and plumb it up. Still need brakes though! Then it'll be pretty much complete | |

| That looks sweet! I love the way that hood opens, very unique! It's really starting to look complete!
What have you got for ground clearance on it?

| Paint the whole tractor aircraft gray or Olive drab Green with that design. What are you gonna do with the gap between the dash and hood? You could do something custom like a amp gauge and tach pod in that area. | |

| Just make sure you remove all the marker before you paint if you used a Sharpie type marker they tend to bleed through fresh paint. | |

| I was kinda set on white paint. Just for soemthing different. I like white/black/green on cars, and wanted to do it on this. Satin black hood with green stripes, and the rest white?? what do y'all think? By the way, thats my back from holiday, had an awesome time! Just got a huge amount of catching up to do on here and youtube! | |

| lol it is actually quieter here now than in winter, suppose its cause people get more shed time in the summer!
hows the weather down with you? its been "temperamental" here cause one minute i was out painting my uncles trailer in 20 degrees heat and then in less than 30 seconds it was pouring down, with thunder! i nearly got drenched and i just spent 10 seconds out! |
