Replacing plastic spindle bushings with metal ones, have ?'s

Trying to replace the cruddy plastic spindle bushings with bronze metal ones. Has anyone done this and know the size offhand? Everywhere I've looked doesn't have a size that fits I almost thinks its a metric size because a 7/8 outer diameter is a hair too big and 3/4 outer is too small

If you have access to a lathe, you could turn the bigger ones down...

Best way to do it is to go to a hardware store with your spindle and rim (with bushings out) and trying it out.

If you have a digital (or analog) caliper, you can measure the inside diameter of your rim and the outside diameter of your spindle and just matching numbers.

Yeah I just actually got back from trying bushings out at the hardware store, and they are the only ones that carry flange bushings around me...lowes/home depot don't carry them

What type of rims are you sing? If its a Craftsman ram with the 1 3/8 OD and 3/4" ID I would do sealed bearings.

Not looking for bearings for the rims I'm trying to replace the bushing on either end of the front axle "tube" where the spindle slides into and is c clipped on
