im gunna try and swap in the steering from the quad if i cant get it to work. or find a steering rack to size

that's what I was thinking when I did my suspention swap. no ones ever done it before

im hoping mine turns out good like yours. thats pretty cool having the leafs in the front. you should try and find a way to swap in some small shock absorbers in the rear. im thinkng about 1" rubber bumpers in the mount bolts for the tranny and adjust the belt to height

I was thinking of putting leafs on the rear axle, making the imput shaft have a driveshaft on it and stuff, its complicated just need to think harder about it I guess

you could style it on a 4 wheeler rear suspension but that would require a side input axle

Well ive been driving it around. Thumbs up for leafs by me. I have lock nuts on all the mounting bolts now.

I saw your youtube video. Have you try romping it hard yet? Looks like it would be awesome for romping with how welll it takes bumps

Thanks man, im growing on youtube. the ride is great, and for what I have around to run (witch isn't much) it does good. I have a small hill I hit around 3 gear and it worked fine. For my 100 subsribers video..... im jumping it

that will be cool. front end is nice and strong looking. and i dont think under normal romping circumstances you will max out the leafs

Agreed, that's why I like them so much. im going to put something where the bilts on the axle contact the frame when I jump it so it doesn't screw up my bolts

I went romping today with my friend. We jumped, broke, hill climbed, made obstacles, just drove around had fun.






Stock LT1000 had a issue, its his grass cutter so its no surprise.

Fixed LOL!

Well the stock pulley is my weakness, always belt slipping. Fixing that!


Now on to the brakes, I was thinking about ff's bike brake but it wouldn't work with my shifter. My new "handbrake" lever is very simple and nothing much can go wrong. Bent up some pipe, but a bolt and a sleeve that goes around the bolt, and welded it to the chassis. I used chain because wire and rope still stretched. looks cool too. I put a stopper behind the brake arm and a spring. super simple and comfterable to use, just gotta test it when I get a new belt.






I changed the handle 90 degrees, works out better.

Anything new Red?

Well as some of you may know, I brought my mower up to my camp last weekend. I had a blast, romping over rocks, slinging dirt (no mud there) and going up hills. My 5/8" belt seems to suck for clutching making shifting hard, but it had great belt traction with just a single clutch spring. It rode in a trailer 2 1/2 hours in pouring rain, constant both ways, started up without a hitch too. here are some pics.


We were trimming a branch and this is just to show how big the trees we have up there are. just 5 acres of land, beach and two houses, and this is are buggest tree.

Still working on the video for this thing. it will be like 14 min long or something, my editing software just sucks, works when it feels like it.
