Ill keep that in mind when I build the springs. They seem kinda soft, at leafy wen I put my full weight on one (witch ain't much LOL) it seems to flex about a inch down. When I mocked it up yesturday they sagged slightly. I don't have a problem with taking one out if it seems to hard. Can't wait to ride this.

get some ubolts and run them up threw the original bolt holes on the leaf spring pack

Wider.... No I like how it is, the front end is 2" wider than the rear. I like em how they are, BUT the spindles are weak, maybe ill do a nice axle sometime, just not now, I usually like to break things before I replace em. I was thinking a craftsman front, not shure about the bigger spindles and with my rims tho.

No progress on the leaf swap, but I did manage to almost knock out something I needed to do anyways.

Heres my exhust gasket or whatever you want to call it so its removable.








Im going to make two braces for this. And why would I wrap the pipe around the front? Well all of this is the same material that made my original exhaust, my sidepipe. I liked the tone of it, low and thumping, and I wanted to keep it. And why a short stack? incase I flip or roll, it wont completely dinkered my pipe.

I like the stack and good thinking of making it short.

You might want to consider putting a flapper on that to keep rain out of it.

It's a must! Lol

Exhaust is almost done. it just needs paint. I made these mounts and there very strong. I can pick up the front end by the stack. I hate when my finger gets in the picture.....  

I really am going to have to visit New York. You're not that far from me, yet I've never seen an exhaust tree before... LOL

I got a raincap for the stack.

cut out these rear mounts.


Welded them


I made my own "U-bolts" but getting a 6" bolt and running it thru the pack, it has a bar or keeper on top that holds the whole program together.


All put together


new wiggly steering rod. it clears everything  that's why it looks like it was ran over by a bus

??? The twist??? it holds up fine beside the axle sliding,but that's a simple fix

sorry i ment slide. my fingers typed faster than my head. i was asking whats with the sliding axle. does it absorbs the bumps nice?

yea rides like a dream for the most part I have yet to hit rough ground but this was more of like a "just to do it" thing and I didn't like the original suspention types. it soaks up bumps in the driveway nice

That's always good. Im planing on swapping in the front suspension and steering off a mini quad on my next project

what shocks are you using?

Idk. Haven't picked up the quad yet. Getting it this weekend

im gunna try and weld in the hole suspension and spindels off of the quad. and if need be buy stronger springs

just gotta figure out steering witch isn't that bad. its a good exuse for direct steer

im gunna try and swap in the steering from the quad if i cant get it to work. or find a steering rack to size
