| Has anyone ever made a snorkel on a twin cylinder briggs? It seems like it is going to be alot harder than just a one cylinder motor and I am trying to get ideas on how to do mine. | |

Wouldnt be too hard since most twins run a single carb. You would have to make a flange, then a pipe going up. With my Vanguard it didint come with an air filter and the parts for my model are hard to find and expensinve. I just plan on mounting a cone filter onto it. | The problem I'm Having is if I just have like one PVC pipe coming up for the snorkel then I don't think I will have enough air flow I'm just not sure how to do it. I just used a rubber fitting on my single cylinder and that was easy to do. | |

| If you are worried about air flow just make sure the inner diameter is the same size or bigger than the inner diameter on the inlet of the carb. 2-3" ID should be good enough.
Make sure you also have a way water cant get into the snorkel as well. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Might wanna get a T joint and an end cap, one way for an inlet, one to the card, the a small 1/2 section (longways) for a short water collector.

Could do like ARMY humvees and Toyota rally trucks did and have a "scoop" at the top with some mesh. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| I took some flat steel and drilled two holes in it and put the pipes through it and siliconed it to seal it up. I also took a piece off the original air filter to seal it between the steel and the black plastic inlet | |
