What would you pay For a 1974 Ford LGT 100 with a 4 year old 10 horse techumseh?

For a 1974 Ford LGT 100 with a 4 year old 10 horse techumseh, a 50 inch deck, and a snowblower.?

I emailed a guy today from out of town. From what I can see this thing is all tractor, no mickey mousing about it, all real steel, and hardcore driveline.

he wants 300. I asked him if he could wait a bit, and bring it to me. Its bigger than my van can handle. My safari can handle a 46" deck on an MTD , a 90 Warrior quad, my 81 IT175, a 95 HX seadoo, and my CB750 chopper, but I can't fit a 50" deck in there.

Waiting with bated breath. Its been on Kijiji for a while, but is a fair ways out of town. I want it for my dozer project, its tough enough for what I need.

Old ford garden tractors are super tuff - they have a tube chassis ( bigger ones) - its probably worth the $300 - specially if it runs and everything works .

The deck should come off fairly easy - could slide it in on the side between van wall and tractor - bit inconvient but should be able to get it home if needed.

He said he'd bring it in to me for 50 bucks, from where hes at it would be worth it, it would cost me about that much to go get it

I'd buy it.
Around here anymore they want 300 for a running throw away lawn mower with a rotted out deck. 200 $ for a non running lawn mower.
Being older and heavy duty it would be well worth it.

He supposed to bring it by on Friday.

I heard from the guy this morning. He can't find a trailer with a winch, and he doesn't think it will start.

Its cold as hell and it hasn't run in 2 years.

Hook the trailer up to one truck then jack knife it, then use another truck to pull the tractor up on the trailer. It will give you a stright shot to pull it up on the trailer.

I've done that too,
