| So i have a craftsman lt 1000 i need to know how to take off the deck hight bar its an eye soar and it really gets in the way!!! I want to know how to take it off with out taking the dash board apart PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW!!! | |

| If the tractor isnt going to be returned to stock, then cutting it out is the best way - id remove the gas tank and unhook the wiring so it isnt damaged when cutting.
If you plan on returning it to stock, then itll have to be disasembled .
I have a 80's agway i planned on modding for trail riding/offroad/mud, never really planned on going back to stock with it, but i saved the stock pieces/pulleys anyway - probably good thing i did, i found a beefy GT murray thats replacing the agway, and im going back to stock with it. | |

| On mine, I decided to keep mine on. It actually makes a nice lever to grab and yank on if the tractor gets in a bind. I also plan to make a bulldozer blade for the tractor anyway. I think your best bet is to cut it out. | |

| haha, that one and the MTD version are pains in the buttocks! I weaseled one out, but there after...cut cut cut ... but, try to cut clean as the parts can be used for other things..just saying....
