400cc racing mower build

i came across alot of square tubing in my grandpas barn the other day and kinda got an idea to build a racing mower im going to take a craftsman 4 speed and gut the whole thing and build a frame but still be able to put the hood and fenders on then get a 300-400 cc motor and get a gokart axle also im going to lower the seat and give it about 5? inches of ground clearance im going to pick up the mower this weekend and wanted to post this to get ideas the picture i drew is in paint and doesnt have the hood i want to build a shell or roll cage type thing give me ideas and help ideas will be appreciated

I built a old cub with a Honda 750 V 4 cylinder one time. It was pretty cool. I have a Honda 550 4 cylinder that I would like to put on a mower some time.

found a craftsman mower at the junk yard the other day and started stripping some parts off of it
