Are you going to be mudding or crawling? Front axle articulation for crawling. Locking the rear end for mudding. Mods depend on your goals and what you expect to get out of the tractor. | |

| No offense but it is quite lazy just to start a thread requesting ideas . You could have just searched the "Project Builds" section of the forum, or looked at some videos on youtube. FearlessFront and arild365 ect. I hope your project goes well, make sure you start a thread In the "Project Builds" sections and upload pictures or videos, I think you may get a better response if you do that , it allows us to actually see what you are working with and what have you. Welcome to the Forum | |

| You would see a huge improvement in traction by locking the rear. I'd do that first, then work on the front axle & steering. A front axle that doesn't pivot offers more predictable handling, and All factory steering can use some upgrades. Speaking of upgrades, factory brakes could use some help, Especially if you plan on changing the gearing | |

| That looks like my 80's agway ( call it a murray) , cept mines red - It was stock, did really well in mud for quite a few years , but tires were my lack of traction - when i dragged it down here i added the larger stock tires , havent really tested it yet tho- i put a 9" rear pulley on it - itll have a 4" motor pulley on a 11HP briggs- im not looking for speed, just a lil better then the geriatic gears . I did buy a set of ATV wheels for it, front and back - my to do list on it includes a winch, on bord air compressor, rear rack and eventual 4x4 setup . | |

| All the wheels are 8" rear rims - rear tires have a sightly bigger profile tho. | |
