What is a hotter plug than a champion rj19lm?

Hey guys, still can't post pics yet, but here is my question. I have a b&s 12.5 hp engine. 2002. I put a straight air Intake and ran a 4 foot pipe with a Harley muffler with baffles in it. I put a carb from a craftsman 17 HP on it to get more gas. The plug is clean. Not black or tan. Was running fine, now seems like starving for gas. I am going to get a new fuel filter, but was wondering about a hotter plug. Oh yeah, disconnected the gov. What is a hotter plug than a champion rj19lm?

If its starving for gas - its not plug related - you might need to run a fuel pump , id check the tank and fuel lines first, make sure no debris in in the tank or colapsed fuel lines.

It was debris in the line. Put new line, filter, and plug. Went with same plug. Runs great. What do you mean properly prepped?

I got ya...I just don't over rev it. But on the lighter side...if she does blow, there's my excuse to get that 17 HP v-twin.

if your not going to over rev it id leave the gov on then , if that flywheel lets go your gunna be in a heap of trouble. Your choice tho lol ive learned to be more cautious after half of my thumb was cut off from a snowmobile engine
