SO... I am already looking towards next year. What tractor should I give attention and get it back into the limelight. These are my OG tractors!
A) Kal-El, My third place winning build-off tractor 2018. It made it to Haspin 2 times!
B) Lil' Red, My first mudmower and also has made 2 trips to Haspin.
C) Green Machine, Never been out on a trail, but has been a great workhorse around the yard!
Initial plan for each!
A) Kal-El
Return to it's iconic Cobalt Blue and Red paint. (Minus the yellow dash)
New Seat
New winch
Return of the rear rack
Better Exhaust
Engine Tune-up
B) Li'l Red
Return to Mud Mower status
Engine Tune-Up
New Exhaust
I feel I have over-engineered Li'l Red. Possibly go back to somewhat stock steering (doner tractor needed) The rack and pinion is no longer working out for the tractor. It may be re-engineered.
Removal of the shocks. They are shot and I don't feel like going back to them. I kind of miss this version of Lil Red: It handled much better and steering was sharp.
Old GT hood is the defacto hood now. Don't worry about that.
C) Green Machine
Not sure about it's future, but I feel an engine swap may be in order.
Needs new tires.
not sure of other updates at this point. If more of a yard mule duty, then unlocking the transaxle is a must.
I'll see what your thoughts are. They may have weight into what I may do next year.

I admire your ability to plan things. I usually just kind of build stuff on a whim i must say i would have liked to see Kal or another 2300 murray build at haspin. Lil Red would be a nice return to the old days though

I've always been a planner. I would love to do a 200 series John Deere build with the 2300 in it, but I just don't have the room for it. Although, they are strangely 250-300 dollars right now in my area instead of being around 800-100 like the wheel horses.

Yeah... I got to keep focused here. I keep thinking I want to do a 200 series JD, but in reality, I have nowhere to put it, and I don't need another tractor. I don't currently have the luxury of having so many tractors. LOL.
I brought out Lil Red today. I will see if I can get motivated to get it in the garage.
