I noticed it says to install SAE90 through the shifter opening to fill 2300.

Thats the easiest way to fill a trans. Thats how i fill my 3 speed and 633 (when i had one)

Yeah, it' how I fill too.  Just the first time I saw it officially documented that way.  Especially when the 2300 actually has a fill plug too.
