I'm down for that, going to pick me up a freebee 1974 sears with snowblower today, probably won't get to that until the new year, perfect timing for the build off as I have a bolens st160 mud mower on the go right now, which I will be posting shortly

The biggest problem we've had with the Build Off in the past few years is people signing up then not actually working on their machines and or strait up disappearing leading to almost no finalists which ruins the fun. This is why it's been starting to feeling pointless, not like it's a huge job but it does take time, effort and money to run it and we should all be giving huge props to @MightyRaze for all he's done in regards to it let alone the daily operations of the site!
I already stated that I'm guilty as the next guy for dropping out last year but I think that everyone (including myself) should think long and hard if they're willing and able to commit to actually completing their builds in the 11 months it runs for, life sure can get in the way sometimes there's no doubt about it but I'm sure everyone could agree that the whole thing would be more exciting if there were more entrants updating regularly, interacting with each other and having a race to the finish line!
Just some food for thought for everyone considering it to chew on (so to speak).
Me myself I would of entered but I join up to later but if there will be one next year I'll be the 1st to enter cause I was this but it was to late in the game for and for next years I'll be there every step of the way until the end. But @ mightyraze dose deserve the best for his good work on the forum and I think the serious members should pitch in and help .mightyraze to keep the forum up and to help keep it growing for years to come and I will pitch in cause I want to see it grow and last for years to come. And I want to say a very big thank you to @mightyraze for all his work on the forum and a very big shout out to @mightyraze.

@Hillbilly mowers that's a nice sentiment and it's appreciated, the best way for us all to pitch in is by being fairly regular to the site and contributing in the form of interacting, offering advice when we can and build to our hearts desire for all to see enjoy! Cheers man!
Offtopic but have you gotten a chance to check out your cousins mowers in person yet? There could be a real diamond in the rough hiding!

Equally guilty of that, I bit off way more then I could chew in the 2022 BO decided to be a little more conservative with trying out really wild ideas that I have...

I'm hoping to have the updated 2024 Rules for the build-off ready around the 15th. That way people can review it, then Jan 1 will have the entry instructions!
