Many of you have likely seen it on Face crack and Youtube. Possibly the first true offroad Massey build? Stay tuned, things are going to get silly over the winter.....

Man, I literally THREW this thing together in a week just to do some testing and see if it was even buildable. Stock GX390 was on it when I bought it, I locked the 2300 up, mounted some old poop tires, added a gas pedal, front axle limiters, pulley swapped and sent it. Currently a 6" engine/5" trans pulley, variable pulley still intact, which required some shimming so I could run 5/8 belts (oem are 13/16" wide lol). No idea on top end speed but itll cruise in the mid 20s without even working the engine. I sold the B-1 but kept the super spicy oppy and 7" pulley, thats whats going in it.

(apparently you aren't the first person to think of that) Well s**t. 24 hours ago thought I was the first to build a real Massey MF series rig, and definitely thought I had the perfect name, hell, i named it as soon as I saw the marketplace ad LOL. Guess I can handle not doing the first ever build, but now the name has to go!

Mid 20's in mph or kph? With my combo I've hit 15mph (24kmh) at stock engine governed speed. Stock pulley on the rear and 6.5" up front I think? Lol
Mid 20s in MPH bud, so I guess thats like 40kph? Those stock rear pulleys are huge! I swapped to a 5 inch back there, and running 25 inch tall rear tires for now.

That's not too bad at all the most i've been able to do so far on any of my machines is 35kph to 40s is really good.

Hello @Wheelinhorse . Thank you for showing your new build. I’m interested to see how the vari drive works because my childhood David Bradley suburban had a vari drive set up going to a single speedrear end. It was a very interesting set up and I think it has an off-road application. Also, my buddies in-laws have a Massey Ferguson in the weeds at their house that they’d be willing to sell me for cheap.Hmmmm I’m interested to follow this thread and see if it gives me any ideas to build a second tractor for my buddy Kyle to use.

Making progress! 2 1/4" stretch, rotated and dropped front axle, bracing things up. Also 'narrowed' the varidrive and rethreaded to pull the sheaves closer together and allow full travel with 5/8 belts.
