@Crazy_Carl those look really nice AND they're not stupid expensive either, thanks for the tip! I haven't seen them before (I wasn't actually shoppping for any when I came across the Lisle ones) but I like them! I can tell by pics that the flutes are scalloped which would be tricky with a Dremel and a stone but I do have a couple HSS lathe tools I could sacrifice if I find myself in a jam.
It's not always the destination but sometimes the journey itself that makes an adventure fun am I right!?
@TechnoChicken yes you drill into the bolt then bash the bit in, I think that's the part I'm most excited for! Lol

Another fine example of why I do not use the USPS for anything critical like mail order perscriptions. OKC seems so incompetent. Some reason, stuff to Shawnee (20 minutes outside OKC) ends up in Florida. Check out the current tracking for my ROD that was suppose to deliver YESTERDAY.

I don't understand the thinking of couriers either, I've watched my own stuff get close to the border then shoot off elsewhere before being shuffled back towards the border. If I had to guess... they probably have different kinds of distribution centers and need to send things to a specific one first? Seems silly and no wonder why shipping costs are so high when things are traveling half way around the country instead of just the state! Lol. Idiots... they obviously don't care about the environment either
I think it is just incompetence at this point. Hiring unqualified people just to fill a diversity hire. I don't care what your race/gender is. If you can do the job... YOUR HIRED! Otherwise, you're just a hinderance to the system.

Yeah I've seen that lol, I've had a package shipped to toronto, then up to calgary, then to somewhere in ottawa and then bumped around in trucks for a couple days before showing up at my house, I should have taken a screenshot of that package track... (Also this is the atltf I don't honestly think anybody here spends their time crying over a couple trees dying lol)

So, I'm working on a snowblower for someone and am trying to fathom as to why some engineer at Briggs and Stratton though that a clocking tab for a fuel priming bulb was necessary?
IMO it's just an uneeded/unwanted PITA to be honest! Rant over! Lol
I never had problems like that with USPS mighty, might be different in your area. It’s fedex you gotta watch out for. UPS rarely fails too, they’re pretty good.

I think it is Oklahoma City at this point. OKC use to be pretty top of the line, we have the training facility here in Norman. Then stupid moved in, in the past 5-10 yrs. Backward thinking (i'll hold my tongue) people from out of state.

I heard they were going to merge fedex with UPS...
Spoiler:
They're going to call it Fed Up

Beware of those chinese lawn mower carbs, I've bought a few and they are utter horse crap, you are way better off getting a used one from a junkyard or something like that.

Damn those are pretty crusty, wondering if they are using higher ethanol gas down there or something? (or your cousin runs his mowers on moonshine, that would definitely do the trick) It seems like that might be your only option, sometimes you can mix and match parts from your OG carb to the chinese one and get it to run right, I couldn't seem to get the surge out of mine. The only other option it would seem is oem, I have gotten quotes for one of those, and it's ususally more then the mower is worth, I was told somewhere around 250 or 300 CAD for an OEM one for a newer kohler

My experience with offshore carbs is that they are designed for (as an example) 11-16hp engines and if you're lucky they'll work great with a little tuning BUT if you can't tune it so your engine runs well then swap over the jets from your original carb (if you have it) and you should be able to tune it right in. I've had good luck with doing that and remember suggesting it to @MightyRaze and that it worked well for him too, was a Walbro carb I believe but don't remember the machine...Green Machine or Lil Red perhaps?

That was what I was trying to say but better. I had one where the only issue with the carb was that the customer lost the jetting piece, that was an absolute nightmare. Bought a chinese carb, swapped it on, surged like crazy. Drilled the jets all that stuff I had a rebuild kit and all that sh*t multiple jets, could not for the life of me get that thing to quit surging, ended up having to sell him the carb off my Wheel Horse 210-5. (actually the reason I sold that is because I was so fed up with the china carb on that running so badly.)
