You know what they say @MightyRaze ... great minds think alike! Lol.
Alright so another project bites the dust and is up for sale!
Not sure what the dollar figure I paid on it would be, maybe $40? I got it in a package deal with the Trailblazer last year. This morning I tore it down, cleaned it up and painted it then this evening I reassembled it.
Now that I'm getting some projects cleared away I'll be able to get back to work on the Silver Bullet soon! First I'll need to almost gut and then reorganize my workshed and tools so I can actually find stuff and have space to work! Lol.
So, I have one for you guys. Back in the late 80's early 90's when craftsman was the GT18 maybe even the newer GT6000 styling. I remember seeing a RED Craftsman version at the local SEARS store. It always seemed like it was their top of the line model and had a sleeve hitch and they always surrounded it with implements. Anyone else ever remember seeing a Red square-nose Craftsman instead of grey from the factory? I asked my dad if he remember, and he did. I cannot find one of those online anywhere. Almost like I dreamed it, but like I said. My dad remembers it too.
Got the all clear from the eye specialist for an eye injury from a couple weeks ago. Got home to a leaking hot water heater. Yay, good news then had to deal with the hot water heater. Luckily, it's just a screw it in and reconnect power job. Original home owner was forward thinking at some time. No solder and brazing needed.

I had been neglecting updating things for a while haha
As much as I would like to build my wheel horse, I think I will bring the GT6k up to standard for a backup tractor at LCQ. Need to go pick up another trans.

So I didnt know where else to post this but i have a question about Roper/Peerless 633a. Should I think of Hi/Lo as a low range inside the transmission like a Big Rig would have make their 6 speed a 12 speed or should I think of it as a 2 speed diff? I always thought 2 speed diff but i saw and @RCG video on own torn apart and I was just curious. Thanks!

Something I never thought about. I just keep it in Hi unless I am using ground engaging implements, then I go low range. Flipping the lever just changes a gear ratio. Beyond that, I've never thought more about it.

Ahh ok. I uise my tractor for mostly utility based stuff so the long range is and added benefit for how i use it. Maybe some one along the way will know more. Thanks!

It seams like to me they think of it as a low range in the diff or like a transfercase as other wise they would just say 5th gear or 3th gear instead of 2h or 3l right?
Hi Guys! I was wondering if anyone knew if an OH160 Tecumssh Carb would A. Work with an electronic fuel pump. B. Bolt onto a HH120. Just been looking for more power for my HH120 and found this carb and wanted to know if it would work, as I am currently running a K181 carb and becasue of that and the air cleaner design I do not have choke either. https://www.amazon.com/Owigift-Carburetor-Replaces-Tecumseh-Horsepower/dp/B098L2ZFGH Thanks!

Simply because I already have one on my tractor as at full throttle it couldn't keep the bowl filled with fuel and we had the e-pump lying around. If I need I wouldnt mind throwing a briggs style pump on.

Come on down to The Good Evening Ranch in Canvas Wv for the Last Chance Qualifier/Open ride on july 15th! The last chance qualifier is a time trial track to decide who gets the last couple spots at The Top Tractor Challenge 2023!
Check out the good evening ranch for all your info,
PSA: There is a horse event the same day, so we have to be extra respectful! Also GER is not hosting the LCQ we are just doing our own thing out of the way from everyone else
