So I was cruising Amazon after work as you do, and ran across something I didn’t know they sold. It’s a full ifs kit for 119$, what do you guys think?

I’ve seen those. Looks somewhat similar to the Tao Tao front end that’s on my craftsman. The weakest links will likely be the tabs on the knuckle that attaches to the control arms

How is your front end for steering angle? Any limiting factors?

Iam a frequent internet shopper and mash together guy and have seen these alot.
There's also a version with balljoints floating around.

I would never buy these however because they just look flimsy around the knuckles and how everything goes together.
These are made for small go karts that don't really go offroad.

Imho the ones with balljoints are a better option and can be found really cheap on AliExpress aswell.

@Nevadablue has a project in the works with IFS. He got a Chinese quad and is cutting the front suspension off of it. I think that could be done cheaper if one was so inclined, if not buying the whole quad I’m sure you could find one in a junkyard.

Steering angle on mine is limited mostly by the bellcrank design. I’m leaving trouble designing a good way to steer it without bump steer or a ton of steering box strain

I tried to figure out which of your builds you were talking about just because of curiosity but couldn't really find it.

Anyway, wouldn't a jackshaft and pitman steering setup negate most of that?
Cheap solution and a good and easy upgrade.

Anyway it's nice to see this brought up as iam also working on my own suspension and steering setup.
