| hello!
Does anyone know the part numbers for the crank, cam, block, and sump for the pressure lubed briggs, opposed twin.
are the pistons/rings different on the pressure lubes? the heads are gonna be the same im pretty sure, or will fit atleast. gonna get arc rods
im looking to build up a pressure lubed oppy, and only that. will not change my plans. | |

| so, i know some people are gonna be wondering what exactlly im gonna be cooking up.
so my plan is to build a pressure lubed oppy, bored for the oversized pistons (30 thou) and oversized rings (30 thou). for a total of 60 thou over the 3.5625 bore of the big bore block. then polish all of the surfaces of the block (excluding main crank bearing locations, cam-holder, and cylinders). then im gonna port and polish both intake and exhaust ports and attempt to grind a "golf ball" pattern into the intake to allow fuel/air to mix better (otherwise the polishing would be harmful to the mixing of fuel and air as the rough surface assists in doing so.) rods will be replaced with arc racing ball bearing pressure lube rods. dual carburetors with a common pulse pump (both use the same pump, combined vacuum line.) the intake manifolds will be custom made with a "rifling" pattern to make a vortex, mixing the fuel better. the pcv will have a catch can. and a common filter for both carbs, with a velocity stack on the intake cover. arc flywheel (not sure about adjusting the ignition timing.) and using the crank with the farthest offset (not sure if thats from a 42, 46 or 40ci opposed) to have the maximum stroke. im gonna shave the "eyebrows" for more flow, grind the head around the same area for more room, and then plane the entire head down for more compression. | |

| a guy calling himself "rooster, did some mods to a crank, allowing the oil to get at the journal better, but i think it would need rebalanced, and i dont have the means to do that. | |

| see that's the problem, i havnt been able to find a pressure lube, only splash (two of those). figuring maybe i could buy the block, cam, sump, crank from ebay or someone if i knew said part numbers | |
