As for anything.  As we have seen in the past few months the forum now has an Awards system.  I created our first awards with the number of posts.  I have talked with @Doug about moving our Build-Off awards into this system.  It's easier to work and doesn't require coding to do it.  Right now, adding new years will require new coding for it and you can't go back and rewrite the old code because it is silly.

Right now, I have created the new awards for 2014-2022, but I have only attached myself to it for testing.  As you can see under my avitar, you can see those awards.  I have turned off my ribbons.

Things I like about the awards:

• You get notified when you get it.
  
• They are part of your profile, and you get an awards listing in your profile.
  

I like it! It looks nicer than the ribbons and considering it's easier and has added features makes it a no brainer in my eyes!

I just had a racing chassis building legend call me on the phone lol! If anyones ever heard of white chassis

Wow my buddy managed to screw up a brand new starter and already blame me for not giving him all the dash bolts because hes an idiot and dumped em on a chair lol

Honestly the stuff people come up with is flipping crazy, I know several people who are currently in Ottawa, and the whole place is completely gridlocked, theres guys just sitting in the traffic with their explict sign doing burnouts and stuff. Anyway

does anyone here not even care about having a four wheeler anymore like i totally have given up on getting and maintianing a decent four wheeler i have a 350 4x4 yamaha that needs an ignition coil and i dont leave funds to even fix it because i love playing with my tractors so much. tractors are so cheap and i get them for free and build something just as capable for the cost of an ignition coil lol

I still have and play with mine and will keep it around, not only is it faster than a tractor but way more comfortable to rip in the woods.

I would agree with @brianator , however I do not own such a device as lawn tractors are wayyy cheaper, honestly the ATLT is merely a poor man's ATV unless you start spending actual money on it.
For example I have wanted to buy a shaft drive cub, put a built motor in it, front and rear suspension (made possible by that shaft drive), hydraulic brakes, a gear set swap, ETC; the problem is, the fund simply aren't there, and I find the case is such for most people on this forum as well.

We don't ride our quads as much now since I got hit by a razor on my 2013 king quad 400 we now cruise the trails in our tiny pioneer 500 and run the quads around on the property for a quick ride.

Tractors are easy to get for free or next to nothing but for me I use them to do chores mostly but also it is fun to see how much more you can get out of them.

i wanna keep my 350 yamaha because it was free its 4wd and comfort but honestly me and quads dont get along i seriously abuse chinese quads until the exhaust pipe melts or something breaks lol. i can fix em but they really dont last long. so i pretty much gave up on quads they are too expensive. but i find quads unneccisary now because where i live theres no where to ride em and the good ones are junk and the bad ones are overpriced. cant find any good quads under 1k and anything under 1k is complete junk. also i stopped buying tractors i only barter for them and accept free ones, because people are getting to know me out here and want junk out of their yards and im glad to accept. but im out of space lol

2014, 2015, 2016 complete.  2016, searching everyone down wore me out.  Need a break before running down 2017.  I used to have an excel sheet of all the winners but seem to have lost it.

No killing myself.  Took a break and feeling good.  2017 done.  Only gets easier from here.  We did things different (better) with the old topics for the build-off from 2017 on so all good.  I should be done tonight sometime.

The other reason why the tractors are better, a least in Ontario, is that they are considered agricultural vehicles, (I'm not 100% sure how this works) and you can drive them on the road with no kind of licensing at all (You don't need a drivers license either)

mk2 was beat before it even showed up at Haspin dont lie

If I get the super new simplicity build done, I might get out to haspin this year, but it’s kinda doubtful. I’m probably not gonna be ready by then.

Well I had a close call tonight… was changing the wheel in my grinder and my finger bumped the trigger… the wrench was in it and it smacked my hand and my ribs… somehow I didn’t cut myself.
Stupid? Yes. But I walked away so life goes on. Point is be smarter than me alright?

That's why I prefer the ones with the paddle and "dead man's switch" flipper doflicky to engage the paddle, you got lucky man learn from it! Also don't forget to tuck the hood string inside your hoodie or rip it out altogether... it's a recipe for disaster!
