Get your vacations scheduled people! Haspin Acres Rally has been officially scheduled. We are back to the regular date range this year. Hope to see you all there!
Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN When: Wednesday June 8th through Sunday June 12th. What: Offroad rally, talk shop, swap parts, and hang out with some awesome friends. Who: Anybody with (or without) an off-road mower can hang with the Mowercycle Gang at this rally.
Haspin is about 800 acres. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to "Are you out of your mind?!?".
Ride anywhere but in the campground. No electricity or water provided in the campground. There is one set of restrooms and showers, about 1/8th mile from campground (They have been very muddy in the past, but better in recent years). The doors close at 10pm. Water is available for hosing off rides and riders.
Camping is available in woods or campground.
Prices for park last year were $20 first day, $15 second, $10 each day after. Not sure if they have changed, but that gives you an idea.
This event keeps getting bigger! Once you've been there, its a hard event to skip!
*****IMPORTANT NOTES!*****
Haspin requires all riders to wear helmets on all trails. If you do not bring a helmet, they won't let you ride.
If you are under age and planning to come, you must work out the Haspin Acres waiver ahead of time or come with a parent. We do not want anyone to drive a long distance and be turned away at the gate. We will not pretend to be anyone's parents, and we are not responsible for you.
As we are doing this rally jointly with Steelsoldiers, be respectful of these very cool guys and their very cool rides.
Expect to break your tractor. Be prepared with tools and parts.
(And yes, I mostly just copied and pasted last years post LOL)

Excellent... But I will not be able to go this year. Oldest daughter is graduating, and her 18th birthday is that week/weekend. I'm shooting for '23 at this time!
Oh... and I set your message as a global announcement!
PROJECTS: Marshal ........................93 Craftsman GT6000 Red Bandit ...................72 Wheel Horse Raider 12 Dirty Rat........................77 Sears Suburban Bowser...........................01 Murray Widebody LT The Green Machine ....1990 Craftsman II GT18 Other projects
Not to get this off topic already but what day? My 17th birthday is that week also!
Unfortunately I won’t make it either as the MM is obviously out of commission currently and Ole Blue is not at all equipped for Haspin. I’m also aiming for 2023.

Got it in my calendar. Should be there, plan is this year to go to KY first to visit friends and drive up, they're only like 3hr away.

If you want to ride the MX track, its best to be there before Friday. Fri-Sat-Sun the MX track is pretty busy. They do have a peewee track that's usually not busy.
I think i shall be going. If anyone has some Opposed twin brings 42ci 18hp splash lube(the ones without oil filters) performance parts(arc rods, arc fly wheel, cam, etc) I would look into buying. I would also like to buy a 5 or 6 inch rear 633a pulley

I’d really like to come out this year but I gotta keep the TTC build top priority this year. If I get enough done we’ll see but that’s usually not how things go.
I've got the preliminary art work done for this year's Haspin T-Shirt! I assume prices will be similar to last year's ($10 - $15). I will either stick with the evolution logo on the front, or just do the mowercycle guy. The back plate is epic (yes I'm tooting my own siren on this one).
If you are coming to the event and are interested in buying a shirt, PM me with Size(s) and Quantity.
