| So this popped up on my local craigslist the other day and I can't figure out what kind of tractor it is. (This is the only picture they posted.) The seller says it runs good and is asking $250 for it. Anyone know what this is and is it worth what they're asking?  | |

| Maybe some sort of old Ford LT that someone painted orange? Those appear to be Ford fenders at least. | |

| That's an old Gilson or Montgomery Wards GT series, should have a Peerless 2300 series transaxle.

Might be a pretty good tractor for $250! Thanks for the info! After a search for "Gilson GT tractor", I found this image:  Probably safe to say the one in the listing is a Gilson.  I may need to get rid of my MTD if I want to get the Gilson, though. | |
