- So the peerless bolt holes lined up with the frame holes on the mtd? Cool
The Peerless has 2 different mounting hole types, and the inner hols are lining directly up to the stock ones. Earlier i wanted to add some brackets to use the outer mounting holes, but i think, the inner holes will do it also good enough.

| Rear Fender Work doneI welded the holes in the fender, the previous Owner had drilled, but I do'nt need those Holes, and closed the old FNR Shifter hole, and cut my new shifter hole. I really like, how the welded spots came out, after i had grinded them down to fit the Shape of the Fender. We all knew, worst case scenario is, when you're alone into some Mud Trails, and your Starter dies, or your Battery is Dead. Because I do'nt want to get into those Problems, I took Off the Recoil Starter Shroud , the Recoil Starter, the Starter Cup, and the different Flywheel Fins from a Spare Engine my Dad has bought 10 Years ago, to use it on my MTD. I also welded up some of the Holes in the Dashboard, because i want to reposition the Choke and the Lights Switch, and the Ignition lock. Stock it sits down in the dashboard, but that's a really bad spot, so i want to bring it up to the top. Better for my back Tomorrow I want to make the Skid Plate, and set the Brakes up | |

- Very nice work man. Are you still going to cut an individual notch for each gear?
Not sure. At the Moment, the shifting way is too close, you skip the gears while you shift, i need to change that. the Shifter Spring in the trans has lots of power, but would be better to cut those notches. Tomorrow i knew more.

- I like the addition of the recoil starter, my 12hp B&S on my Westwood has the old-type Briggs recoil start which uses the starter clutch instead of the newer starter cup. The body work looks good filling up those holes
i do'nt knew, but the recoil starter shroud has a bigger cooling fan diameter, and i need to find a recoil that fits the stock shrouds. Those pull-start shrouds are rare, and i think the old starter clutch types have a different crank, so i ca'nt add this old starter feature

| Working under the mowerTo work more comfortable, i had jacked up the mower. Now it's in the Wheelie position I started working on the Skid plate The skid plate also is the Transaxle supporting mount because i had electricial problems, i ca'nt finished welding together the skid plate frame Hopefully, tomorrow i can weld without problems. Also had calculated my Pulley Ratio. Everything stock, only different rear pulley and rear belt. | |

I wil mount the Skid plate on the Frame. The Front part is secured to the deck lifting assembly, and the rear to the frame. I do'nt really need a skid plate, but protection is always better than no protection, and i never want to break my MST.
