| No go from 16 inch to 13 inch or 11 inch racing slick, MORE rpms, less torque needed, and better drifiting | |

| But slower speed and less ground clearance. Plus, the rear sprocket is probably that big. That would tear the hell out of the chain lol | |

| Idk about 18 all the way around. Maybe 16 front and 20 rear. But yes matching snow hogs would look pretty cool I think. Most of the driving he will be doing though is on pavement so these tires will do fine and they’re free. The backs are pretty old and sun-baked, but not too bad at all. The fronts I bought brand new 6 years ago, mowed with twice, and stuck in the shed forever. Nice to see them finally get used lol | |

| Swap the rear sprocket out for a 36 tooth. Then it would not hit the ground. My friend had a go cart with 13 inch wheels and a 96 tooth sprocket. He kept hitting rocks he said and we took off the axle and it had a good 1 inch bend in the middle where the sprocket was . | |

That's a good idea to put snow hogs on all fours. I think that would look cool on a smaller tractor like this. A slight stagger front to rear would look cool too like CraftsmanQuad19 said.

| Ok guys, big update. My valvestem-fix tire was flat when I came by today. Dunno if it leaked from the bead or the stem but it pumped right up and seems to be holding fine. Got the rear axle out and worked at those damn rear tires. No amount of heat or hammering would move em, so sawzaw to the rescue... .....or not. These things would not give up. Got the grinder out and took a little more off and kept at it with the hammer. Finally let go. Here’s a pic of the carnage: Also replaced the rear axle bearing while we had it apart. Ran to TSC and got a lower 3pt end. Cut the collar off of it and had the ball with the hole through it. Turns out I’m really good at eyeballing stuff because it was a direct replacement. Here she is on all fours: Let me know whatcha guys think! | |

| Definitely a new seat. And maybe a small pulley swap. I think the stock clutch will even work with a swap. It engages at the VERY end of the pedal travel. And paint those white rear rims. And an exhaust lol. Nothing is wrong with this one and it’s quiet, but boring | |

| Looks like the end of the axle got peened over.... thatd stop em from coming off! Looks much better with the bigger tires up front.... looked pretty dorky, like the the craftsman IIs with small tires up there. Are you going to lock the diff? I vote side pipe dumping in front the the rear tire. | |

| I vote side dump too but behind the left or right front tire, whichever is easier. I like the stance the tractor has now. | |

| I vote yes on sprocket swap! I like how you mounted your muffler in an atv style location. I don't see that often because most of us just don't have the room. Was there any reason why you made it cross over the the right side of the tractor instead of going straight back along the left side? Were you just going for a "quad" look? If so you nailed it! | |

| I was going for the look, but it was also easier because the factory quad pipe bent that way, and the flange to bolt the muffler to the frame was on the left of the muffler (right of machine). I texted pics to Richie as soon as it was done and he asked the exact same thing haha | |

| Alrighty guys, successful pulley swap! Bought a hub from TSC, slid right into the old deck pulley, wouldn’t you know. I left my sawzaw at dads so was stuck with a hacksaw. Cut the stack apart and welded in the new hub (some of my better welds, I’m getting better). Used the belt that used to drive the deck as it was about an inch, maybe two longer in overall length. Took it for a drive and tops at a gps 10 mph, nearly doubling where it was before. Here are the pics: Another thing I forgot to mention, I added sticky foam around the dash so it would stop all the rattling. Whole thing sounds so much better now!! | |

| 9 by the 3600 RPM governed speed. 10 if I reach forward and bypass it. The carb needs a tune bad that's why it only picks up 1 mph. surges and bogs really bad | |

| Little update here guys. With the bigger pulley, the clutch was trying to disengage (drive the mower) with the brake still on, so it would either stall the engine or take off in a wheelie with my brother just trying to hang on. No bueno. Deleted the brake entirely and all is good lmao. I’ll make a handbrake later.
A couple little problems though. Throttle cable is broken, no biggie. Even with the throttle on the engine set on idle the governor tries to rev the engine way up. Dunno if it’s the carb gasket leaning it way out, back pressure from the exhaust, or just carb tuning. Any help is appreciated

| I'd bet something is slopped out in your gov setup. Might be able to peen over one of the factory rivets a bit more and tighten it up | |

| Strange. The governor's job is to slow down the motor not speed it up. I wonder if something weird is going on with your linkages, adjustment, or springs. hmmm | |

| Sounds like maybe your governor is out of adjustment? Does the arm rock back and forth or is it locked in place? | |
